Collier Area Transit (CAT) is committed to providing safe, accessible and courteous public transportation services to our customers.
About CAT
Since February 2001, there has been a new CAT in town. The Public Transit System began with servicing only five routes and 324,000 passengers in its first full year. Since then, CAT has grown to become a vital element in the quality of life of Collier County citizens. CAT is managed by a small team of County staff and the County hires an operating vendor to conduct the day to day operations. The System’s Fleet is maintained by highly experienced staff under the County’s Fleet Management Division.
